Headshots for actors are like any other portrait: the more comfortable your subject is, the better the photos will be.
You may recognize Chris from other entries. He and I have worked together a number of times over the past couple of years, starting with my ode to Valentine’s Day, Cupid Noir.
He called me up and said that he needed a new character portrait quick. And, it had to be another Dark Portrait, only this time we need to capture a different character.
A little more discussion, a little calendar juggling, photo shoot scheduled.
A hundred and twenty five frames in a little under 45 minutes.
Fifteen minutes to edit the session to narrow it down to 4 final images. About an hour of file tweaking and we are done!
