Composite with over 150 layersDigital Illustration or “Let’s Photoshop it!”

Digital Illustration or Photo-Illustration, (otherwise known as, “Let’s Photoshop it!”) can be used to improve on the dramatic effects in a photograph, fix rough areas on a prototype, or execute a concept that would be impossible to create due to safety, cost or just plain doesn’t exist in the real world.

Like any tool, digital manipulation is only as good as the concept behind it.

There are tons of sites out there dedicated to bad photoshop examples. A google seach will turn up samples of bad manipulations, horrible compositing, gross bling for the sake of bling and anatomically impossible bodies.

My philosophy is that we can create the impossible as long as we follow enough of the rules of reality to make you believe it. And that all starts with a very clear concept of the story we are fabricating.

With over 20 years of creating and manipulating images, dating back to the days of film and Photoshop 2.1, we can create the image to tell your story.
