Creating food photography on location is full of creative challenges. But, since my studio does not have a kitchen, it pretty much always means I am creating food photography on location.
It also means that we need to do some pretty careful planning before we go out.
However, sometimes, you just go with the flow.
We were setting up on another table, getting plated entrées from the chef and turning around the complete menu in an extremely short amount of time. During a brief break (we got ahead of the chef!) I wandered over to another table, where they were setting up for the afternoon rush.
And the sun just happened to break through the clouds, reflecting off of a wall outside the conference center.
Yes, it was delicious.
