Matt will be talking about his Sweet Blasts series, his medium and processes. Two pieces from the series, Hi, Steaks! and Orange You Glad?!, have been accepted into the Danforth Art 2016 Annual Juried Show.
Danforth Art’s Artist Spotlight Talks are open to the public as part of the Danforth Art Museum’s community programs.
Matt’s Sweet Blasts! series is inspired by the intersection of technology and natural systems and the potential for mayhem that may result.
About the Danforth Art Annual: 2016 Juried Exhibition
Danforth Art Museum presents the Danforth Art Annual: 2016 Juried Exhibition, a highly anticipated exhibition featuring some of the top artistic talent in New England.
One hundred forty three works by one hundred thirty five artists at all stages of their careers were selected for the exhibition by Danforth Art Curator and 2016 Juror Jessica Roscio.
The exhibit will be on view through August 21, 2016. The Danforth Art Museum is located at 123 Union Avenue, Framingham, MA 01702.
