Making the RENT

I hope you have been following along on the Character Portraits series for the RENT Poster.

Bill Doscher and I wanted to pay homage to the original Broadway marketing campaign for this iconic musical by using a similar styling on the post production of each portrait.

Each of these actors was a powerhouse, both on stage and in the studio and I hope we captured some of the energy and feel of the show.

It was a long but fun day, playing with very talented and passionate actors, to create their characters on a blank set for the RENT poster.

Catherine Moniz did a wonderful job on Makeup and Lisa Mosher was fantastic on Wardrobe.
