Bermuda Sunsets, or the Art of Night Shooting without a Tripod
Photographing at night in Burmuda
Ah, the sun slowly sets on the glowing huts at the 9 Beaches Resort in Bermuda.
The tropical sunset relaxes you into the hospitality of the warm breeze, scented with jasmine and a hint of the torches around the docks.
We were traveling light on this little location shoot. As a result, I didn’t have a tripod handy.
This was a classic case of grabbing hold of porch post, breath in, breath out, breath in and exhale half way, click.
Do it again.
And again.
Of course, after shooting 7 or 8 frames, you get a little light headed…
The rum swizzles don’t help!
